Resolving issues with Arris router login
In case you are facing issues with Arris login, you can restart your Arris router. This will help clear the caches and boost the device performance. If restarting the device doesn’t give you any results, you’ll need to RESET your device to factory default settings.
Making a device RESET clears the configuration changes made to your device and brings it back to the time it was during the factory manufacturing. You’ll then need to make the configuration and Internet related settings once again.
To RESET your admin Arris router, here are the steps you can follow:
- Locate the RESET button on the rear panel of your Arris Surfboard SB6183 router. You’ll find it within a small hole with RESET written in a small font below it.
- Now, using a thin object like a pin or a paperclip, press the RESET button for about 10 seconds until the LEDs on the front panel flash altogether and the device will reboot.
- Release the RESET button now, and allow the Arris router to boot up once again. Once it does, you’ll need to reconfigure the device. You can follow the steps mentioned in our home page to do that. Also, reconnect the devices to the network to enjoy uninterrupted access to the internet.
